• Showing Work!

  My students greatly appreciated your wonderful donation. Student use this donation daily. In math and science students are able to show their work. They are also able to turn and talk and explain their answers.

  I teach at a title one school with black and brown students. For many students in the community basic school supplies are hard to obtain. When I gave my students the donation they were really happy and said thank you!! I was able to assess students learning quicker and more efficiently. I was also able to save materials by using this donation.”

• Saving the Earth in the Classroom

  Thank you for your generous donation. My students are loving the worm bin. They were scared of the worms at first. After learning how important they are to the ecosystem, their opinions have changed. They are learning how to use compost and how organic matter can change into soil and fossil fuels. A few of my students have also asked their parents for a worm bin for Christmas! This project is not only teaching my students fourth grade science standards, but how they impact the earth daily. My students and I thank you for this wonderful donation.”

• Bouncy Bands for Brilliant Bodies!

  Thank you for your generous donation. I have a class full of energy and these bouncy bands have helped tremendously. The bouncy bands are much appreciated in my class. Your donation will help my students this year and for years to come. My students love using their bouncy bands. They are extremely grateful; it helps them focus while sitting in class. My students also use the bouncy bands when they are taking a test and have test anxiety. The bouncy bands help them to calm down and to put their mind on something else.”

• Let's Go Legos!

  These materials have also been instrumental in keeping students productive during cold and rainy day recess times. Students have been able to work collaboratively to build marvelous creations to share with their friends and classmates.

• Buddy Bench: The Power of Friends

  Thank you all so much for your kind words and generous donations! We can not thank you all enough for making this project dream a reality. We have seen wonderful friendships sparked through this project. Students are sitting on the bench at recess whenever they are feeling sad or lonely. When other students see a friend sitting there alone and by themselves, they know to go over and start talking with them. This has helped students to be more reflective on their own feelings as well as how their peers are feeling.”

• Board Games: Bored No More!

  Thank you all so much for your kind words and generous donations! We can not thank you all enough for these wonderful board games for our classroom. These games have already been put to great use. The first day back from the holiday break have been very raining and sad. These board games have helped our indoor recess time to come alive. We have even been able to use these games to review some materials that we learned before the game. We pared our study guide questions with the rules of each of the board games.”

• Peaceful Ponds!

  Thank you all so much for your kind words and generous donations! This project would not be possible without your generosity. We were able to clean out our old existing pond and update it with some fresh new features. Your donations helped to provide a new pond liner, water pump and chemicals to keep the pond functioning for years to come. The pond is now a wonderful place for our students to rest and relax. They love coming by and checking on the fish and journaling about their day. We have even had the opportunity to learn about a thriving pond environment.”
