I am a special education teacher and behavior analyst. All of my students are in special education and have varying needs. Some of the students I support are non verbal and are working on functional skills for more independence. Other students are verbal, have average IQs, yet struggle learning due to learning disabilities or behavior disorders. The students' behavior disorders may be a manifestation of emotional disturbance, social traumas, or autism. All the students I work with are capable of learning and becoming more independent based on his or her functioning and cognitive abilities. Donations to my projects will allow the students I work with to have access to materials to encourage their learning in academics, functional skills, and social/emotional learning.
