  • Material for the New School Year

    Funded Oct 30, 2017

We are loving our new book shelf because we are able to store our new books and games. The treasure chest has become a great way to motivate my students to try their best. They are eager to fill their chart, because they get an opportunity to dig for a prize inside the treasure box.

The Picture Stories and Language Activities set has become a great resource in helping me teach communication and literacy skills with familiar characters and predictable routines.

My students have been busy developing vocabulary, grammar, sequencing, predicting, and answering questions.

I would like to continue using all these great resources for the rest of the school year. I am planning to use these resources for years to come. My students are each individuals and their language needs differ from one another and I like knowing that I am able to best meet their needs with the resources I now have.”

  • Reading Supplies to Work on Reading Skills

    Funded Nov 8, 2016

My students and I are enjoying our board games. These games have helped my students enhance their comprehension skills by answering questions. These games have also help my students expand their academic vocabulary. My students like using the dot markers as they complete specific articulation activities.

The next steps for my class will be to continue to use these board games. I will continue to use the laminator and laminating pouches to laminate picture cards. I would like to continue to use the stamps for their reward chart.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Baker

  • A Printer, Some Ink, and a Laminator! Oh My!

    Funded Dec 14, 2015

My students have definitely benefited from a new printer along, ink cartridges, and laminators. I have been busy printing vocabulary picture cards to teach my students specific words and concepts. I have used the laminator and laminating pouches to laminate vocabulary picture cards. I have been using the picture cards and worksheets for my therapy sessions for three months and they still look great.

I am planning to continue using my printer and my laminator to print out more picture cards and worksheets. I am planning to make some social stories to help my students cope with sharing, getting along with peers, and asking for help. Thank you for helping my class!”

    With gratitude,
