My class is made up of 24 students. There are 12 girls and 12 boys. 11 students are Caucasian, 7 students are African American, 4 students are mixed race and 2 students are Hispanic. 9 students are below grade level in math. There is one student who has a 504 which allows him extra time on assessments and small grouping. My children enjoy moving about the class and collaborating with each other. Our school has about 950 students K4-5th grade. We learn what it means to be leaders now and when they are older through the Leader In Me Program.
