• Inspiring Positivity

  Thank you so much for your donations.

  It was so great to see all the students faces as they cashed in their hard earn dojo points for their amazing behavior last month. Their smiles were ear to ear and they had a hard time choosing which prize was best.

  Our cash in for this month is coming soon and with all your donations the store is still filled with goodies the kids love. I'm sure the kids worked extra hard to earn double the amount of points. A lot of the students saved their points to get a higher priced item that caught their eye.

  Currently we are working with a group called the CARES KIDS to figure out what other prizes we can add to the store to jazz it up. Be on the lookout for these items in our next Donors Choose Project.

• Our Class Is a Family

  Our classroom looks amazing thanks to your donations. The bulletin boards are updated.

  The students feel excited to come to school to such a clean bright environment.

  It's also great because I have all the supplies I need to create games and materials for the kids to use when learning new skills. The kids love the new white boards to practice their letter and number formation.

  With the increasing costs of supplies and the amount that is needed to support the classroom it is great to know that there are such kind generous people willing to help a teacher out.”

• Positive Behavior Pays Off

  The students at PS 78 love the prizes they got to choose for earning their points and cashing in.

  It was even better than usually because this month we had the gran opening of our physical store so they got to see the prizes lined up at their finger tips.

  You can tell they are already ticking up their PBIS points for their next cash in at the end of this month.

  It means so much to know their are people out there with such kind hearts that are willing to give to schools in need.

• Teachers+Kids+Parents= Remote Success

  Thank you for purchasing these books for us in our classroom. We love them!! We also love to read. We read independently. We read with our partners and our teacher reads stories to us

  Ms Berntsen read the Little Spot book to us and we learned a lot about being mindful of our emotions. Ms. Berntsen has taught us some things we can do to stay calm when we are having a bad moment.

  The night before our graduation Ms. Berntsen plans on giving us a book to read with our parents. We love reading with our families and Ms. Berntsen loves to hear us tell stories about when we read at home.”

  The donations will be used to replenish the prizes in our school store. As the students earn points for their positive behavior they can cash in at the end of the month. Different items are different point values.

  The students at the school were so excited to see all the new prizes in the display case for the school store. They couldn't wait to cash In their well deserved dojo points at the end of the month.

  The donations you purchased have kept our store well stocked and will get us through until the end of this year and the beginning of next.”

• Care Learning Packages For Kids Who Care!

  Thank you so much for these supplies. My students are able to smoothly transition from working in class and working in school with them. They love their letters and number cards to practice with while singing along to their favorite learning songs.

  I can already see how excited the children are to learn everyday. They are also able to complete their projects at home because they have an extra set of glue, scissors, and crayons to work with.

  The parents were also thankful to receive this bag of goodies. The smiles on their kids faces makes it easier for them during this tough time in their lives.”
