Students need and want to collaborate with their peers in meaningful ways. Hands-on lessons that allow for creativity and experimentation create students capable of learning beyond the obvious answers right in front of them. These resources will allow students to develop questions and design experiments to help answer those questions. Learning about the movement of matter in ecosystems, along with designing conservation solutions, is a unit of study my students love. Growing plants is a key component of “doing” as students develop a deeper understanding of matter. You can help them develop their problem solving skills, while tacking real world challenges, by funding the purchase growing supplies for our classroom!
