  • Robotics Part 1

    Funded Oct 4, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation to our robotics project. This robot was much needed. When the season started we were unsure as to how many students we could have complete because our old robots were not working well. Having this robotics kit allowed us to have 3rd graders added to our team. They were able to immediately get started building. They loved having the new kit and robot. They were able to keep up with other members of the team.

By allowing the students to start in 3rd grade instead of waiting until 4th grade, we are giving them a let up in the robotics knowledge.

We just finished our season and the kids had an amazing time thanks to you. They are already looking forward to the next season. Thank you again.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mcgough

  • Can You Hear Me Now?

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

Thank you so much for supporting my class. These headphones were so needed. Every program we use needs headphones and these fit the bill. My students is them on a daily basis. They are so sturdy. They have survived a year with students dropping them, chewing on them, and just general wear and tear. I will now have headphones that my student next year can use.

I so happy that my students get to see the support of strangers. They were amazed that someone cared about their education. It is so thoughtful of you to support us.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mcgough

  • The World in 3D Part 3

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to our 3D printer project. It has been so much fun for the students. They have enjoyed learning how to create things for their classmates.

We also have been able to print things for our robots. Students were able to 3D print license plates for our robots. Other teams loved them so much, they asked us to print license plates for their teams as well.

My students are constantly trying to figure out new things to print. They are so excited with our upcoming projects.”

  • Can You Hear Me Now?

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation of headphones for my class. These headphones have allowed students to hear their programs better and have held up. Many students' parents purchase their headphones from the dollar store, you know how well they can hold up to the wear and tear of an 8 year old.

These headphones have held up the the worst my students can give them. They have saved us. I don't know what we would have done without your generosity.

Thank you again for continuing to support education.”

    Mrs. Mcgough

  • VEXIQ Competition Rise Above

    Funded Oct 18, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation to our robotics team. The additional robot allowed us to offer spots to more students then we have previously had. These students have all developed a new love for robotics. They are even wanting to take the robots home so they don't have to stop doing robotics.

This has boosted confidences, encouraged high level thinking, and problem solving. Several students have mentioned wanting to continue to do robotics in middle school. I have watched over the years as more and more students have developed a love of robotics. Your donation allowed us to reach out to even more students.”

  • The World in 3D

    Funded Oct 15, 2020

Thank you so much for the donation of the 3D doodlers. My students loved using them. These pens opened their minds to so many new things; things they didn't know were possible.

They were able to make 3D shapes and designs on their own. They loved being able to create things as easily as writing with a pen. It was really amazing to see the things my students created. Whenever they could, they loved to try to make new things.

Your support meant so much to all of us. My students couldn't believe that someone would support hem like this.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mcgough

  • The World in 3D Part 2

    Funded Feb 11, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation. When I found out that my original plan for 3D pens was not going to be available, I decided to use this chance to purchase a 3D printer. It has been an amazing opportunity. We've been able to print math manipulatives, decorations, and many other things. My students have marveled at how items are printed. They love watching it work.

We are now starting to learn how to design items to be 3D printed instead of just using it to print things already designed.

Thank you so much for your support.”

  • Taking Our Webcam to the Ultra

    Funded Oct 15, 2020

Thank you so much for your donation to our project. We Ultra Webcam has been amazing. The picture is so clear. Because it is wireless, I'm able to move it around the room. Students are able to see what others are doing without compromising our social distancing. Students who don't normally volunteer are requesting to show their work.

It has been a hit with everyone. Students also love how they can write on the screen to demonstrate their learning. It really has been a game changer in the new world of education.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mcgough

  • Legends of Instruction

    Funded May 28, 2020

Thank you so much for your donation. Virtual learning is hard. Having something that the kids look forward to doing, helps so much.

As a Math teacher, having kids show work has been a difficult task. Being able to us GoFormative allows students to use the "show your work" feature. My students were recently given touchscreen chromebooks by our district. The touchscreen made it easy to use GoFormative.

Legends of Learning has so many activities for the students to use to review what we are learning in class. They love playing their games.

Thank you so much for your generosity.”

  • TCEA or Bust Part 2

    Funded Oct 17, 2019

Thank you so much for donating to my project to send me to TCEA. It was an amazing week. I learned so much to bring back to my class. I was able to sit in classes to learn about using different programs to enhance my students' education. This week was one of the most beneficial of my career.

I was also to make contacts with other teachers and vendors. I was able to connect with teachers to get new ideas and activities. Then also connect with vendors of products we use and products I wish we used.

Thank you again. This conference invigorated me and gave me a new focus.”
