  • Surface PRO for the Community

    Funded Dec 1, 2022

Thank you so very much for everyone that supported us and donated to this very special project that we desperately needed for our students and for our school/community.

The surface tablet and the keypad were a much needed addition to our many activities that we support with the students and the community. The students were very excited to open up the tablet and set it up so that they can use for an event that we had the weekend before Christmas break.

Again, thank you very much for all the support and love that is shared with all of us!”

  • Community on the Move

    Funded Dec 1, 2022

Thank you so much for the support and donations in this project. We definitely needed a cart to move things around and a viable movable stand for instruction, presentation during class time and community events.

The students were very excited to receive these items. They couldn't wait to open up the boxes and put everything together. We've already used the cart several times for different events already. All of this is possible because of each and everyone of you that gave us a donation to support us in this project.”

  • Organization for Writing

    Funded Dec 1, 2022

Thank you so much for your support in this project that we desperately needed. Somehow our electric

Whole puncher got misplaced during the summer cleaning. We had procedures, in place for organizing, our binders for class and writing, and we always used the hole puncher as part of our organizing. We needed more labels for our LabelMaker so that we can label all the different things in the room without having to open up containers and then it makes it easier for other people to walk into the classroom and know what is in each of the containers. Thank you very much.”

  • iPad mini for Community Events

    Funded Dec 1, 2022

Thank you so very much for supporting us in this project by donating to our donors choose much needed project. Our students desperately needed this mini IPAD.

The students started tracking the package as soon as they got notification that it was shipped. When they realized it was coming today, they ran down to the door to greet the postal delivery person. They literally ran back up the stairs-tore open the box and start setting up the ipad.

On behalf of the students and staff, I thank You so very much!”

  • Surface Pro 8 for the 9th Grade Pro's

    Funded Dec 1, 2022

Thank you so very much for supporting our students with this much needed project. We desperately needed the surface tablet and keyboard for all the different school events and college prep; essays/applications.

When the tablet and keyboard arrived, literally several students ran down and met the postal delivery person at the door. They ran upstairs and began to set up the tablet. I barely got to see the box. Needless to say, the students were excited!

On behalf of all the students and staff, Thank you very much!”

  • Project Cheer

    Funded Dec 1, 2022

Thank you so very much for supporting us with this project. These gift cards will definitely motivate and inspire our high school cheer squad. We do not get much funding and we are always looking for assistance for our cheerleaders-since much of the budget goes to the athletic teams, and not the cheerleaders.

The squad so excited to see that this project finally got funded-they went onto the site every day. They actually saw it funded before me-I heard a few of the squad members screaming down the hall for me-and that is how I knew it was funded. Thank You!”

    With gratitude,

Medical Arts is a magnet school within the city that focuses on the medical field. Students that attend Medical Arts want to go into the medical field and aspire to get accepted into college with a medical major. Unfortunately, our school is not a regular building. It is a converted warehouse and lacks many of the technology upgrades in order to stay in the 21st century. In the suburban outskirts, students are able to visit facilities that have computers for research purposes. Our students do not have those same options and we are limited to the availability of devices for students to utilize. Many students have to take several buses in order to get to our building. Students have got to leave their houses by 5:00am in order to catch their rides and to arrive to school on time. Unfortunately, they are against the clock when they leave at the end of the school day. The goal is to try and reach home before dark-in this violent ridden city. There are over 200 students that attend.
