In our School district, 90% of our students are on the free or reduced lunch program. With the exception of a lucky few, a large portion of our students use school instruments and instrument accessories. Our students have the privilege of joining band in the fifth grade and continuing through eighth grade. The number of our students continuing their music education into high school continues to grow each year as we build a stronger music community in Central Phoenix. Our students are enthusiastic about music and practice several hours a week. Because our instruments are used by students every year, it is imperative that we take care of them, swabbing them out everyday.
