  • Materials to Make Math Fun!!

    We are so appreciative of your generous donation to our room! This school year supplies and hands on materials in our classroom meant the most. The dry erase markers, eraser and glue sticks were used daily. Students were able to use the markers on white boards to solve math problems. The glue sticks were used to input daily math story problem into journals. Our friends are able to access materials quickly all while keeping our room organized. The learning materials have been a tremendous asset to our learning. Students have been using the magnetic tens frame throughout the school year. We have been able to use the color paper for different assignments. Our friends didn't have to worry about bringing pencils because we had enough to last us. We love it! We would never be able to have such an amazing learning environment if it wasn't for your donation!

The learning materials will increase student engagement and allow students to have an opportunity to use materials on their instructional level. Glue sticks will be used daily. Students will glue story problems into math journal. Pencils and erasers are needed throughout the entire school year for students to complete assignments. Clip boards will use for students that need flexible seating and within small group instruction. During whole group instruction students will need dry erase makers to work out varies math problems. They will also be used on a daily basis. Many of my students are unable to financially provide needed materials to succeed during the school year. The other materials listed will give those students an equal opportunity to participate in learning activities. With your help the goals for my students this coming school year will be accomplished.
