• Back to School Necessities

  I can't thank you all enough for thinking of us and contributing to our school supply needs! The kids were so excited when the package was delivered to our classroom. They even asked if they could use the pens to write the thank you letters (they are very colorful). I have students who are creating poster projects right now and the new Sharpies really make those posters pop.

  I also think you should know that the thoughtfulness you have showed to us also effects me greatly. It helps me to keep my spirits up and teach with more excitement just knowing that there are great people out there such as yourselves to think of us and to take care of us.”

• Environmental Care with Disney and You!!

  Thank you so much for soil testing kit, the properties of soil kit and the geo-clever catch ball!! My 6th graders are so excited to get started on their ecosystems unit so that they can use their new materials (I'm excited too!!). The soil testing kit looks very involved and that spells exciting to my eager learners.

  Students remember what they do, and these hands-on materials are just what we need to ensure long lasting, quality learning to take place. You are so amazing to partner with us and make these learning opportunities a reality! Again, thank you so much!”

• Technology is within Reach!

  WOW! We are so overwhelmed with appreciation and gratitude for the Samsung Tablet!!! I can't begin to tell you how beneficial having this technology available to our students is. They are able to do so much more real world learning with this tool available to them. It is my goal to have one tablet per group of three students someday and we are half way to that goal because of your wonderful generosity.

• Produce for Kids Would Like to Help, How About You?

  Thank you all so much for your support of our project! My students are so excited to have a healthy snack available to them when they get to school late or have an after school activity to attend. It is impossible to concentrate on school or move in a sport when your stomach is growling away. Because of you and your support, they can have a snack and move on; disaster averted. The look on their faces when the supplies were delivered says it all, excitement, relief and appreciation for all of you and what you do to support our schools and students! It is truly amazing! • Above and Beyond with Biology!

  Hesitation and then oh, so much excitement!! My 7th graders loved the thought at first, but when the frogs arrived a look of fear swept over their faces that was soon replaced with the loud chatters of "COOL!" and "This is SO AWESOME!" I am always amazed at the fa-nominal timing of projects being funded and where we are in our units when materials arrive!

  We were able to learn about cell, tissue, organs and organ systems the way it was meant to be learned; with hands on, exciting science materials. I can't possibly thank you enough for the opportunity to learn about biology in such an amazing way. Your generosity astounds me! Thank you so much!!!”

• Help Us Stop Bullying!

  Thank you all so much for contributing to our anti-bullying efforts. Giving students recognition for their positive efforts can be very tricky at times, but with incentives that are meaningful to them, it can be so much easier. Thank you for the pens and smencials, the kids love them so much and it brings joy to their hearts to get a reward for their good efforts. The anti-bullying books will also be put to good use in a small focus group situation for those students who will benefit from discussion and collaboration.

• Matching Funds for Great Kids

  I am so amazed at how our supplies come the very next day! My students are so excited when the delivery arrives. We unpacked our treats and right away the entire atmosphere of the classroom becomes more positive and the timing couldn't have been better! After just finishing two weeks of state testing, our spirits were getting low and then the Jolly Ranchers, Oreos and Rice Krispie treats arrived to save the day. Smiles were bursting from every face in the room and there was a collective sigh of relief. Thank you so much for all you have done for us.”

By providing colorful markers and pens, pencils and poster board for my students to use when demonstrating their knowledge, makes their product even more amazing! I am also amazed at how quickly our materials arrived!! One day after the project was funded and the timing couldn't have been better! We will be creating Galaxy and Sun posters today during class! Again the impact these seemingly basic material have is more powerful than you can possibly imagine!”
