    Thanks so much for the awesome multi-function color printer with ink. In terms of technology, my classroom was in dire need of a wireless printer and you came and saved the day. You have helped me furnish my math and science fifth-grade classroom with the technology that was so desperately needed. I cannot thank you enough.

  • KNEX Our Tigers With STEAM!

    Thank you for supporting this STEM project "KNEX Our Tigers With STEAM!" project request. Since receiving this amazing K'nex STEM kit, my students have built and experimented with structured that crossed boundaries of math, physics, physical science, and engineering. Even though my students are 5th-graders, they were able to apply abstract concepts to concrete math concepts.

    Their imaginations, not to mention comfort zones, were pushed outside of the box and they are now inspired and unafraid of discovering the unknown, thanks to your generosity and kindness.”

  • Tigers Are Hitting The Centers With Technology!

We can now have two technology centers simultaneously instead of one and the students no longer have to pair up when going online to research a topic. You have given us a jump-start to becoming a STEAM classroom and this would not have been remotely possible without your generosity and great kindness.

As we are embarking to be designated officially a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) school, technology has now infiltrated every aspect of how our math and science classes are taught. After Hurricane Irma struck, most students came back with fewer supplies and less access to the tools they need to be successful. Even with limited resources, using technology in my classroom has proved to be quite a success as the students learn quickly, discover and enjoy every lesson while developing STEAM exploration, as well as analytical and critical thinking skills. I am requesting five Dell Chromebook computers, which will be used mainly for STEAM online activities. My students now need to experience actually utilizing technology on a personal "one on one" basis, to enhance their language skills as well as computer skills. Currently, my classroom is very limited in terms of technology/computers. In fact, there is only a teacher's workstation and four very ancient student workstations in my classroom. We are aiming to become a STEAM school in the upcoming school year, therefore, having our students get direct access to technology will prepare them for the near future. Your support would enhance my students' lives and expose them to using technology in our classroom.
