Teaching students to be literate isn't just about reading and writing, but it's also about teaching students to be technologically literate. Many of my students do not have regular access to technology, as roughly 50 percent of our school's students receive free/reduced price lunch. I want to do my part in ensuring that my students are career ready by allowing them to access technology on a daily basis. By having Chromebooks available to my students, this will create memorable learning moments in my classroom that my students will cherish moving forward.
