Sitting all day in a desk takes a toll on an 8 year old. Seating that allows a student to move and wiggle is ideal. I know exactly where these chairs will go and whom they will help. These stools will also benefit my whole class because every child needs to move and get their wiggles out. Flexible seating, including wobble stools and ball chairs, will allow students to move while improving their concentration in the classroom setting. Students will be able to bounce, move side to side, and this will increase their ability to focus. Some students need more movement then others and this will really help those children in need in a typical classroom. I am hoping to get this project funded and allow my students more options of learning in their educational experience and make the classroom setting a more positive one for them. So students with high amounts of energy will be able to have their needs meet in a way that is not distracting for them or others.
