My group of students is part of a career exploration program. They have been learning about the health care field all year. We teamed up with a local high school chapter of HOSA (health occupation student organization) to meet medical professionals from all backgrounds and specialized fields. Now, my students are ready to show the world what they have learned. This spring, they will join with the HOSA for a competition. In pairs, students will be researching health care careers and displaying the information on poster boards to be judged. They will have to create a creative, informative display and speak to the judges about their project. They are so excited to show off their learning using writing, art, and presentation skills. I am asking for two Single Walled Presentation Boards, five packages of Flip Chart Markers, twelve packs of Construction Paper in Assorted Colors and twenty-four Glue Sticks. My students will use all these supplies to create their posters.
