My students are as diverse as the world we live in. There are 13 second grade students, 11 boys and 2 girls. They have a wide range of disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, physical disabilities, and learning disabilities. Many of these students have trouble with self-regulation due to their disability. Our school classrooms are inclusive for these students. They require modifications and accommodations to access the curriculum. Adapting lessons to the diverse learning styles of the room benefits all of the students in the school. The students I work with are well liked by other students and are part of every class.
