You everlasting support to students and educators is unmatched. Because of you, my class was able to use the projector and stand to their advantage everyday. Instead of accessing only paper materials, we are able to use technology daily to improve their skills in the classroom.

My students are able to view material in color and on a big screen. This allows them to interact more in class discussions. It gets them up and moving, as they are able to come up to the board and participate that way.

The projector has allowed us to access materials through the internet that we would have previously not been able to. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you. We hope that you continue to be shining lights on the education program, because without people like you we would be lacking in a lot of areas.

    Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Leo

  • Supplies to Help Our Classroom

    Funded Jan 15, 2017

These supplies helped my students greatly. We were able to complete many projects and assignments with them. Our lessons were more hands on because of the amazing supplies you helped us get. As a low-income school we have limited access to many of these simple supplies like markers, pencils, and board markers. With your help we were able to obtain all of these supplies and use them to our advantage. We really appreciate all of your help and would not be able to continue to be successful without people like you.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Leo

  • Help Us Get To Our Team Building Trip

    Funded Dec 8, 2016

Thank you so much for your generous donations. The students had such a great time and were able to do so because of your generosity. We were able to take the buses donated because of you to Boda Borg, a questing site. The ease of getting there helped our students to really focus on having fun at Boda Borg. They had such a great time and really used their thinking skills to solve the different rooms.

One highlight of the trip was seeing the smiling faces of the students as they were running through the different rooms trying to problem solve. They were enjoying themselves and happy which was great to see. A lot of students never got this opportunity before and we were excited to see how much they enjoyed it. They were so tired from the fun they had that the bus ride back was quiet as the students discussed how much fun they had.

The students were able to use their problem solving skills they learned in the classroom to solve the various questing rooms. They continue to use these skills in the classroom which is great because they see that problem solving can be fun. Thank you again we had so much fun!

  • HELP! We Need Basic Supplies

    Funded Nov 25, 2015

Thank you so much for your donations. When my students saw these materials they were impressed with your generosity and couldn't believe people could be so kind. My students have been able to use these supplies to better their assignments in class. With these supplies they have been able to create some of the most beautiful works of art which they are extremely proud of. Recently we created a project called Scrooge Heads, in which students had to create a split face representing Scrooge before he changed and after he changed. They were able to create some of the most amazing pieces and I was extremely impressed with their end results. These supplies will help us to continue to create work we are proud of. The highlighters we received will help my students to find evidence within readings. It is important that students learn how to analyze a text, and with these highlighters it will help them to learn to analyze in a fun way. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

My students range from non-English speakers to second generation immigrants. Learning in the English language is a struggle for most, and they have not had the support from their broken homes to excel in school as they should. I have students who have little at home, and are able to succeed in school, and I have children who come from similar home situations that struggle immensely. It is my goal to help all the children I have to feel comfortable at school and want to learn. I want my classroom to be a place they do not have to worry about struggling, and be proud of themselves in every aspect.
