This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Supporter and 5 other donors.Energy Saver
Funded Feb 17, 2022My students were absolutely thrilled when they saw our new trampoline. Several if them in particular were excited. We have been using it daily during movement breaks or when a student just needs to get some extra energy out. We also use it for counting as we count the amount of jumps we do. When working with students with disabilities it is essential for them to have sensory outlets around the classroom so we can be successful in our everyday educational objectives. We will continue to use the trampoline as a way for students to help unwind and have a little fun! Thank you!
The emotion building legos have been a wonderful addition to our classroom. We especially use them during listening and learning. We will read a story then build legos to demonstrate how we think our characters are feeling. These sorts of hands on activities are essential to keeping students engaged so thank you for helping our classroom be successful!”

Sensory, Stimulation and Inclusivity
Funded Sep 23, 2021Thank you, thank you, thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. Your donations helped make a more viable and comfortable learning environment for my students.
The magnet tiles that you helped buy are used daily for math and science. The alternative seating helps my students stay calm and have their sensory needs met throughout the day which allows for deeper learning.
The kinetic sand is a class favorite and is a great sensory activity. The water beads are my students absolute favorite.
Everything that was purchased through donors choose has been utilized in our classroom. Thank you again for your help, a little goes a long way for our classroom.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Jacob
