I teach Art for grades K-6 and am lacking some basic materials to complete projects for the year. The students at Cactus Wren rely on art as an outlet with many of them preferring art over academics. As the art teacher, I am incorporating reading and math into the art curriculum to help improve academics for the students. Our elementary school is a Title I school with the majority of the students receiving free and reduced lunch.
