Funded Nov 17, 2022My students and I are so grateful for your amazing donations! When we started receiving the supplies, the students eyes grew wide with excitement! The kids love using the different mediums such as the multicultural crayons, colored markers and crayons, dot-paints, and watercolor paints while creating anything that sparks their imagination.
We are currently in the unit of study Where We Live and using the kinetic sand, students created sand castles, sky scrapers, and igloos. The kinetic sand is also a helpful sensory tool so my amazing architects can see what it takes to balance and build up a place to live.
Using materials such as styrofoam balls, crafting jewels and fabric flowers, students will be creating 3D art. This is where their projects come to life and they ca even play with these creations as part of other centers in the classroom. One such center is the block center in which they are architects and create homes for their 3D creations.
Again, thank you for your incredibly generous donations and we look forward to sharing our work with you!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Mitzman
