• Blankets to Warm My 2nd Graders!

  Thank you very much for those extraordinary blankets that you donated to us. My entire class is very grateful for such a wonderful blessing for both the students and their families.

  Many of them expressed their gratitude by dancing, jumping, singing and want to share it with their brothers, sisters and cousins.

  These blankets will allow them to stay warm and healthy during cold weather, they will be able to sleep properly, and therefore they will feel refreshed and ready to learn in class.

• Little 2nd Graders Need Help Learning From Home!

  I have been using this printer to print colorful assignments and activities for my students. Since they are in second grade, it really gets their attention and focus more when they are working in color. I have also been able to decorate my classroom with what I am printing. Some of my students chose to continue school from home because of COVID, so it has been great to make physical copies of worksheets for them. Many of them do not have access to internet at home so I know it is a real blessing for them to get their packets. Thank you so much for your generosity.”

• Warm Blankets for Winter!

  My students have loved the blankets. Especially during the cold winter nights, many of them have told me that they now are using them regularly and some are sharing it with their siblings as well.

  My students were ecstatic when they saw the blankets and robes. They loved the designs on them. One of my students told me that he loves dinosaurs so it was perfect for him. Another one of my students just moved here from Guatemala, and I know that receiving the blanket was a huge blessing for him.

• First Graders Need Coats to Stay Warm This Winter.

  It is with great appreciation that I write to thank you for your thoughtful and generous donation of blankets and jackets to my first-grade students. Thank you for helping us to take care of our children in these cold winter months.

  I would like to share with you some of the comments I received from the kids.

  One of them said: "Now, I am going to have my own blanket and I had never seen a soft blanket like this. This is the prettiest and softest blanket I have ever touched."

  A girl that received one of the jackets said; "This the most beautiful jacket I ever had and want to share it with my cousin."

  The day after they received the blankets and jackets one of the kids approached me and told me that his mom asked him to share his blanket with her and he said; no tonight, maybe tomorrow. I had a great night last night. Dormi "calientito" (The blanket was warm and nice).

  As you can see, these gifts caused a great impact in their lives.

• Little Ones Affected by Hurricane Harvey

  We want to thank all donors that made possible for these little ones get their blankets. It was a great experience and I would like to share with you all some statements and reactions from the students.

  Yaretzy, was really excited and shared with the class, "I won't have to share my sister's blanket because now I have my own beautiful blanket."

  Maytte: "Yesterday, after I got home, I was looking for my blanket and I couldn't find it. I went around the house and when I entered to my mom's room, she was using it for my little baby brother. He is just 1 week old!"

  Each student had their own story and they have enjoyed their present thanks to your generosity.”

• Little Houstonians Are in Need of Life Essentials!

  I wanted to thank you all for your generous gift to my students. They were thrilled to receive the blankets. I had one in particular who came to me after receiving it and told me that he couldn't believe it that just that morning he told his mom he was cold all night, and now he was receiving a blanket. I could see in his eyes how thankful he was, and the impact it made on him. He will always remember this and know the importance of giving to others, just as this was given to him when he needed it most. My other students were just as excited, and said they would share it with their siblings. I really appreciate your kindness and willingness to help my little Houstonians.”
