Hello! My name is Mr. Milliken and welcome to the Landscape Management program at the Jordan Academy for Technology and Careers. This is the inaugural year for this program and I am more than thrilled to be a part of it. In this program we will be covering material from two separate courses, molded into one; Landscape Management and Greenhouse Management. In addition to these two courses, students will also have the opportunity to participate in Jordan School District's Farm to School program. This is a hands-on course and we are fortunate to have a 9,000 square-foot greenhouse along with acres of neglected land to use as our laboratory and experiment grounds. We look forward to studying everything from greenhouse production, landscape design, urban forestry, fruit and vegetable production, and so much more.
