I have a fantastic class of 34 students this year! They are creative, fun, and most of them are eager to learn. Like most classes, my students have a broad range of abilities, motivation, and aptitude. Several of my students struggle with basic math facts, and feel overwhelmed with fifth grade math concepts. Many struggle with reading fluency. A few of my students are very bright, and benefit from enrichment activities, and enjoy a challenge. The rest of my students fall somewhere in between. At the beginning of the school year, many of my students said that their favorite subject is science. Yay! They love doing anything hands-on and are quite creative. My students also love using technology and get almost as excited as I do when we incorporate it into our learning.
