As you all know, several teachers and students will work and learn remotely this upcoming semester and possibly the entire year. With that in mind, I want to build my students at-home libraries to encourage and sustain their love for reading. I currently have 18 students and that number can easily increase within the next few weeks or throughout the school year. I would like to send at least 4 books (2 fiction and 2 non-fiction) and a magazine home with students for them to read independently or with their families. This campaign is geared towards funding sturdy bins for students' books. I currently have another campaign for donors to contribute that will help purchase books. It's a good feeling seeing students enjoy reading. My students will have interests in a variety of books and topics. Some of them will enjoy sports, adventure, mystery, biographies, tech and other topics that open their minds to another world. The ultimate goal is to encourage and sustain autonomous learners and life-long readers. Your generous donation will contribute greatly. Thank you!
