Our students are special needs with a high level of needed support who require hands on activities to demonstrate basic skills in all areas. They are eager to try new things. They come from varying economic backgrounds. They attend a school where the majority of students receive free/reduced meals. They have limited access to learning opportunities in the community and in school. By doing hands on activities, they learn to follow directions, work individually and in cooperative groups which are important skills to be marketable in the work place.
