Our library will allow for all of my students to be intrinsically motivated and support self-directed learning. The students will not only be able to enhance creativity through literature in the library but from their own imaginations. As they work collaboratively, materials such as LEGO building sets, Duct Tape Kits and a Makey Makey Invention kit will create opportunities for students to be producers of content and products. Using the LEGO building sets, students will be able to build scenes from their favorite story book or create an alternate ending to their favorite story. The Makey Makey Invention Kit will give my students the materials to be inventors. The duct tape kit will allow the students to construct various items only using duct tape. Using these wonderful materials, the sky's the limit for my students.
