My students are amazing! I have students who are 5 and 6 years old. The range in their background knowledge and education vary when they enter kindergarten. I have some students who enter the classroom after 3 years of preschool and some with no preschool experience. They all love school and learning. Our school is a Title 1 (low income) school and we constantly struggle to equip the classrooms. Technology plays a huge part in education in the present age, but our school is way behind in filling classrooms with the tools they need. We DO have an amazing staff at this school and a principal who truly cares. Students are taught to respect those around them. Kohala Elementary is a very special place but classroom could always use donations for furniture, supplies, and equipment. With your help we can give the students the materials they deserve.
