Books and Basics for Remote Learning
Funded Nov 12, 2020Thank you for helping me support the students in my classroom. Although we are still remote, with your generous donations, I am able to provide my students with supplies and tools to use at home during remote learning. With proper tools my students are able to show what they know! With these white board paddles, my students are able to hold up and show me their work. For example, I dictate a word and they can either write the word, write the letter the word begins with or draw a picture to explain the meaning. Everyone can participate! Their excitement and eagerness to share what they know is evident as they hold up and present their work. Thank you again for your support! It is very much appreciated!”

Supplies for Success and Safety
Funded Jul 6, 2020Thank you for helping me support the students in my classroom. Although we are remote, with your generous donations, I was able to provide my students with supplies and tools to use at home during remote learning. With proper tools my students are able to show what they know! Your generosity will also reach my students in the near future when we go back into the classroom. They were happy to receive supplies and tools to call their own. Their excitement and eagerness to learn shines daily as they share and present their work.”

A-B-C 1-2-3 with the WRITE Stuff
Funded Nov 18, 2015Thank you so very much for your support and encouragement. Thank you for the materials and tools we can use for extended learning in our daily centers. Math and ELA are the majority of our curriculum and anytime we can re-enforce them, the better.
My students were so excited to open the new materials you donated to our classroom. They have never seen any of these fun resources before and were excited to get started. Now that I have introduced them into our daily routines, my students have alternate ways of learning. My students are diverse and learn in different ways. These new resources give them hands-on learning, through games, and interactive exchanges. Students are problem solving, analyzing, observing, and having fun all at the same time. These center activities will also help further their reading, writing and math skills. These new center activities and tools will help my students learn on a different level and help them become successful.
These donations have helped me create a positive learning environment in which my students feel safe to learn, explore and freely express their outlook, thinking and creativity.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Schastny
