My classroom learners can greatly benefit from having access to more technology within the classroom. No longer will they have to wait for their time in the computer lab to get access to technology and devices while they are at school. The Chromebooks will be implemented in a 5th grade ELA and Social Studies classroom. By having readily available Chromebooks, they will be able to do valuable research, practice their keyboarding skills, have a readily available resource for online dictionaries, thesauruses, and digital books, and have access to online learning programs such as Mobymax to help re-enforce teacher taught skills. Within their social studies class, they will also be able to research historical events, view maps, and complete learning based projects. I believe that this is an invaluable resource that is greatly needed to help my students continue to grow and prepare them for their bright futures!
