  • Staying Calm with O.T.!

    I am so incredibly grateful for the profound impact that your generosity has had on my students. We use these materials daily and they have made such a huge impact on my students' progress and well being during their OT sessions. I use the peapod and the body socks with a wide variety of children and I'm now able to offer compression vests to a student of any size who may need one! The blackout tent has been wonderful to assist my students to calm down during tough and frustrating moments. I am unsure that my words could ever accurately convey my tremendous gratitude.   • Fine Motor Fun in O.T.

    I cannot fully express my gratitude for your generosity in funding this project. With these materials, my students are actively engaged in therapeutic activities targeting their goals and having fun at the same time. These supplies have made therapy fun and effective for both me and my students!

    With the paint and washi tape, my students work on fine motor control and bilateral coordination. They work on letter recognition and motor planning with the alpha bots. The construction paper and scissors have been fantastic for cutting skills and bilateral coordination skills. My students are making great progress because of you!”

  • iLearn with iPad in O.T.!

    Dear Donors,

    I don't think I will be able to sufficiently express my gratitude but I will certainly try! This project has already been so beneficial to my students. They are excited and engaged when they are using the iPad and Osmo system in my therapy sessions and they both have proved to be strong accessories to my intervention in working toward their goals. It has become another modality in my repertoire to address their visual perceptual, visual motor, fine motor, behavioral, social/emotional and writing skills. The apps on the iPad have allowed me to track their progress in certain areas much more easily and I can tailor their activities to meet their individual needs.

    I thank each of you so much and I'm so excited to continue to use the iPad and Osmo in my occupational therapy intervention!”

Many of my students need to get up and move in order to learn and have trouble sitting still. Sometimes they need extra movement to focus or calm down. The requested weighted sensory gel pad and body socks will help them get the movement they need in a productive way and help them stay on task! Some of my students move around in their seats and have to divert their attention away from learning in order to be still. The set of 8 tangle fidgets will give them the movement they need in order to focus and stay on task in class!

About my class
