My students are motivated Diverse Learners who have happily returned to school after nearly 12 months of remote learning. We are establishing a positive learning environment in our resource room where everyone can be successful, however, some of my students are struggling to adapt to classroom norms after a year of being at home. My students would benefit from flexible seating options such as standing desks or wobble chairs because they cannot always sit still. This alternate seating will support my students' concentration on academics by allowing them to move in their own spaces without disrupting the learning of others. Giving students the tools and supports they need will enrich learning for all!
