I am blessed with a great group of fourth graders. Our district is departmentalized, so I interact with all eighty of them. My students are fun to teach and eager to learn. Unfortunately, my students are being raised in a high-poverty, low-income, and lower-class community where resources don't necessarily come easy. Most families aren't able to provide extra materials sometimes needed for school.
