A funded grant feels like opening the special Christmas present you were wishing to get! You can't imagine the impact your contribution makes in my classrooms. I have been able to expand our Arts programs with materials and field trips from DonorsChoose grants. Every year we provide opportunities for success to six hundred students with beginning art classes, then upper level drawing, painting and ceramics . We are able to travel to special events, museums and art schools. DonorsChoose is the best opportunity I have to stretch our budget and provide more possibilities for creativity to our students. Every teacher I know who receives funding feels like they have been rewarded for their teaching efforts. A funded grant motivates and inspires students and teachers!
