Creating 21st Century Learners
Funded Nov 28, 2016My project has been funded, and my students and I are tremendously excited! Words cannot express how grateful we are for your donation to our classroom! I am so excited and thankful that you share the same vision towards education as I do. With your support, I had been able to turn my class into a more engaging environment, where the students are getting their hands on, instead of them being done by me. The laptop has been super helpful in regard to behavior. I use an app that is for classroom behavior, where the students can earn points, in addition to the laptop in the class students are able to go to the board and give themselves points. They get super excited about it. The "Eggspert" also, has been a wonderful tool to our class. After, each lesson we play with them. They get in group and each group will have a color. I ask the students question about the lesson taught. At the end of the game wherever group gets the must answers win. The students love it!!! I am confident that this will increase the interest, and self-confident of my students. I will be able keep using these materials in an exciting and appropriate way to fuel students learning and achievement. One more time, thanks so much!”

Technology for All!
Funded Nov 20, 2015We cannot thank you enough for making for your generosity in assisting in providing materials for our classroom. The tablets that you donated have helped my students every day. The students have checked them out continually and they are rotating in and out nonstop. The students have been able to use them for improving their phonics skills, math skills, for leisure reading as well as finding text structures with literature that students are interested in reading about. These tablets are used by the entire class. What a great asset to our classroom!
With our school continually facing budget shortfalls and decreasing funding your help has put many smiles on the faces of my students. The excitement and reaction of seeing the students with new tablets in their hands is indescribable. While these tablets will continue to nurture our students through different activities apps, they will also enjoy seeing and handling fresh new knowledge.
Without donors like you, projects like "Technology for All" would never be funded and students would not have the opportunity to use great materials that are available.
Thank you so much for your generosity.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. De la Cruz
