These materials will allow the scholars to begin their journey into the creative arts. Scholars will use these materials as an extension of their hands that will allow their ideas to come fruition. Scholars will be taught how to create observational pencil drawings using the Blick Drawing Pencils. This will allow the scholars to be able view the minute details of simple objects to create still lifes. I will also take these scholars back in time to learn about the myths of the Ancient Greeks. Scholars will learn about the ancient gods and goddesses and create their own myths. From these myths, scholars will learn about the different uses/ types of Greek Pots to create their own pot. They will tell their own story within this work of art. Scholars will use the different colored Blickrylic paints to then transfer their myths that they have written onto their Greek pots. To do this successfully scholars need to have the correct tools to apply the paint and by having the Blick Scholastic White Bristle Brush Set scholars will learn the correct application of paint. Allowing these scholars to have this creative outlet will allow them to express themselves in a way that they might have otherwise. This grants them the ability to think in a creative way and see the world in a different light.
