Observing our high school students and how they interact with our media center has set me on a mission. Our school has an incredibly diverse population. We have high numbers of reluctant readers and non-readers, who do not spend much time in the media center. We have strong career and technical programs, such as construction and automotive repair, and the hands-on, career-focused programs appeal to many of our students who do not consider themselves to be "college-bound."
