  • Help Us Learn About Our Emotions

    Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom. The students are so excited to use the items from my calming area. They have already started using the sand timers to help them focus and calm down when they need a little break.

    When the students came in and saw all of the materials in the calm center they were so excited and intrigued to see what there was. They were asking so many questions and could not wait to start using the new materials. Now that we have had the materials for a few months, the students have started using them in the ways they were intended versus just playing with them as 4 year olds do. I am so grateful for your support.”

  • Calming Area

    Thank you so much for your donations. The students are loving the new calm area. They are able to sit and calm their bodies using a number of the items that were purchased. Their favorite item is the 5 minute sand timer. They just love watching the sand fall down, they will turn it over and over again if I would let them.

    When the students first saw me taking out all of the items they were so excited. As we put them out and explained how the items could be used they could not wait to try it out. Now it is a welcoming area the students love using to regulate their emotions.”
