  • Binder Bunch

    Funded May 9, 2024

Thank you so much for your incredible donation to our class. We have been able to utilize all of these resources every day in our instruction. The page protectors and dry erase markers have been such an important tool in our daily routines. The rolling cart has been so helpful in moving our instruction to different places throughout the room. Our students love using the bold and bright markers along with finding their color spot on the rug. The read alouds are also going to help support our learners in our upcoming writing units!”

Thank you so much for your incredible donation to our class. We have been able to print and create so many resources in color for our students. This has allowed us to better differentiate and coordinate our classroom materials. The dry-erase lamination sheets has also been a great product to use in our classroom. We have been able to create centers and activities that are easily reusable throughout the day. Also, the sound wall cards and sensory stickers have been an amazing resource we use every day.”

Thank you so much for your incredible donation to our classroom. We were able to purchase our read alouds for all 4 kindergarten classes in our school! These read alouds have been an incredibly important resource for our new literacy curriculum. Students have enjoyed listening to the stories and manipulating the pages of the books independently. We have been able to teach our kindergarten student the love of reading by utilizing these read alouds. Thank you again for supporting our classroom. We are so grateful and thankful for you!”

  • Read Alouds for Learning!

    Funded Jun 14, 2023

Thank you so much for your incredible generous donation. The money you donated to the project allowed for us to purchase read aloud books for our reading curriculum. We have been able to use these books each week to help supplement our instruction.

The books have allowed the kindergarteners to learn how to manipulate a book and the proper way to read. Students are able to manage the books during center time and utilize the read alouds independently.

Thank you again for your donation. Your kindness and generosity have helped these kindergarteners so much!”

  • Snack Time For K-307!

    Funded Mar 1, 2023

Thank you so much for your incredible generous donation to our classroom. These cleaning supplies have allowed my co-teacher and I to help keep our classroom clean and our students healthy. Each morning, we come in to school and wipe down all of our work spaces - clean and ready for learning!

The snacks have also been a great benefit for our students. At times, students come in hungry or are upset with the lunch choices for the day. The goldfish crackers and water bottles have helped students curb their hunger and be able to learn throughout the day.

    Thank you so very much!”

  • We Love Our Community - Let's Make It Even Better!

    Funded Feb 13, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our project. We have been able to obtain, create, and laminate different activities for our students in order to complete their creative projects. Using these materials, the Kindergarten teachers were able to print different sorting activities in color, laminate them, and use them in teaching about our communities.

We were also able to print students' photos and use them to create their own "person" using the multicultural person cut outs. We laminated them and students put themselves into our community sort activity asking themselves "Where do I belong in our community?".

We are so grateful and thankful for your donation!”

  • Popping for Social Emotional Learning!

    Funded Jan 13, 2022

This project has had such an incredible impact on our students this year. The books have given students and opportunity to discuss their emotions and learn how to self regulate. The stories have helped give them the vocabulary they needed in order to do this. The pop-its have been a vital tool in our room for calming down when we are feeling big feelings or when we need to refocus our minds before learning. I will be using the mirrors as a tool for students to look at themselves and say positive things! Thank you so much!”

I am working in a Integrated classroom with a group of energetic and eager learners. My special education students' needs vary from speech disabilities, learning disabilities, and behaviors on the autism spectrum. They are pulled for several different services throughout the day, such as speech, physical therapy, counseling, and ESL. They enjoy using manipulatives and visuals in order for them to find success. My school is in a high needs area of Queens and consists of many students where English is not their first language. Many of my students fall under this category, and receive ESL services.
