This year I have 19 wonderful 6-7 year olds that have a yearning for learning. My students come from low poverty and have little access to books and literature. Many of my students' families work hard to provide basic needs. When my students come into my classroom, I try to provide them with a safe and welcoming environment to make them feel comfortable before we start our learning journey.
