  • Creativity and Critical Thinking Skills through Stories and Poetry

    I would like to Thank you everyone who supported/donated to the LCD projector. The students will be able to do research and projects to prepare them for College. As technology becomes essential in our experiences, our students will have opportunities to work with the LCD projector to do research, practice on Khan Academy, and watch videos on stories that will be discussed in class.”

  • Middle School Field Trip to the Aquarium.

    I just wanted to express my gratitude for the opportunity that my students experienced. We learned a lot about the squid. The students were interested and attentive during the class. Also, the students had a chance to explore the aquarium and the different exhibits.

    The students gained a better understanding of marine life. Some of the students express an interesting the shark and sea otter exhibit. This was a great experience for the students at Peary Middle School. Thank you to the supporters that made it possible.”

By implementing the Writer's Workshop model, my students will begin to see themselves as true authors and illustrators. We will use The LCD projector to aide us in the research of authors of all times. This work will aid our students in the process of becoming life-long writers and researchers. As the teacher, my focus is that our students meet the SAT and ACT writing requirements, and by using technology in the classroom, will help our students reach that goal. Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality. At this current time my classroom only has one chrome book. Thanks!
