Technology Needs

I just wanted to say thank you again for your generosity with our technology request. Now, when we go to the computer lab, I can distribute each student's assigned set of headphones and they get right to work. Little things really do make a big difference-we don't have to spend half of our time looking for headphones! When doing research for their Science Fair projects, they were able to look for articles and listen to helpful, kid-friendly video clips which not only helped them gather information, but fed their curiosity. We've also used them for interacting with programs our school uses. One of which is Odyssey, which applies animation and videos to teach reading and language arts skills.

We appreciate you and your kindness to share with us. I personally thank you for easing my frustration- it was difficult to both instruct students with their work and constantly look for undamaged headphones (esp. in my group of 27!) I say a silent, "Thank You," each time I get them out!”
