  • Let's Multiply!

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thanks to your generosity this year all 3rd graders in my classroom have the tools needed to learn their multiplication facts. You already know that multiplication is the main tool for many forms of math such as algebra and calculus. The ability to rehearse and understand multiplication enables children to confidently and skillfully tackle the more complex mathematical subjects. I can't thank you enough for giving to this project and to the amazing learners in my room. After learning the foundations of what multiplication is and how to solve problems over the course of the first 45 days of school students transitioned into memorizing their basic facts. The excitement in the room when kids "pass" a fact and move on is electric. Before leaving on winter break I surprised students with their own set of multiplication fact cards to continue their hard work at home. Thank you again for making this possible!”

  • Give a Little Sparkle

    Funded May 3, 2021

I'm so excited to share with you how amazing our classroom environment is with all of our "Sparkle"! Students enter the room to find vibrant colors and encouraging quotes everywhere they look. Students are dreaming big, believing in themselves, and leaving a little sparkle where ever they go. When they all first explored the room they couldn't contain their joy. "Wow what a cool class," said one. Another shared, "This is the best class ever!" Thank you again for your generous donations and for bringing the shine back to our class after being closed for so long.”

  • Get Writing

    Funded Feb 18, 2021

Thank you for your donations that helped purchase new materials for our kids to learn cursive. The children were so eager for the new tools and couldn't wait to share with their friends and family once they arrived. It was like Christmas when the boxes arrived. So many smiles and so much joy!

Although these things may seem small to the average person, you know that they are not. That's why you gave, and why the kids we serve and we are full of gratitude for your generosity.

Again, thank you for all you do for our kids. You are a part of their lives too.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Collins

  • Read Aloud

    Funded Mar 16, 2021

All the readers in our room would like to thank you for your generous donation to our third grade classroom. The books have been purchased and delivered into the hands of some very excited students. They were overjoyed to find out that they all had their own copy of Stone Fox to enjoy.

We truely appreciate your support to the students and the focus on improving literacy. Learning to love to read is a major focus in our room and having books to put into the hands of our students is key to fostering the love for reading.

Thank you again for all you've done to bring joy and happiness to our lives.”

  • iMonitor (iPad)

    Funded Oct 22, 2020

Thank you again for your wonderful generosity towards my classroom! I have already begun putting this much needed technology to use. The pandemic has brought so many new challenges to our classrooms, we have descended into Zoom call chaos at times. What's more, is we must wrangle this new, weird system with just a single monitor, making it difficult to see students and the lessons at the same time. When assignments are pushed out to kids I have to make the difficult decision to monitor their progress or see them. Thanks to you I no longer have to do that! Now I can teach my 25 students, with one screen I can display and interact with the courseware, and on the iPad I can view and interact with students. Thank you for making such a difference in the lives of so many!”

  • Please Print!

    Funded Sep 5, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donations towards our printer and supplies. When I shared with the students that our printer had finally arrived they were ecstatic! I have to admit I was too!

There are so many ways that the printer has been used already. As soon as it was plugged in and ready it was put to use. I was able to print log in cards for students to place in their take home folders. Additionally I was able to print and send home notices for parents.

The impact that this printer has on our classroom is immense. I will now be able to print awesome teacher made items that enrich and support the learning students are now doing virtually. I will also be able to send home student work, letters, and notes home in color.

We can't thank you enough! You have made such an impact on my teaching, my students, and their learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Collins

  • Get Organized!

    Funded Aug 5, 2020

On behalf of the students in my class I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all who so generously donated to our project. With your support each child now has a brand new binder to begin the school year. Inside they also have dividers to keep organized and a pencil pouch filled with all of the supplies needed to complete work from home. With your support we have ensured that each child will now start the school year with the supplies they so greatly need! I can't wait to see the excited in their faces when we hand these out next week. Thank you again.”

  • Ready, Set, Read!

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Thank you for your most kind and generous donation to our classroom. Your wonderful donation helped to purchase new books for our leveled library and much needed organizers for student's chair backs.

One of our goals has always been to provide students with access to books daily. Books that are leveled to meet their needs as well as books that are of high interest to them. Your support has helped us to reach our goal. Our classroom library is now full of new and exciting books for students to read daily...even on weekends.

The new organizers have become the envy of all teachers that enter our room. "How do they have so much space to work?" they often ask. "Where's all their stuff?" Students now have room work across the table with their peers, space to work privately if needed, and most importantly a place to keep all the tools they need throughout the day.”

  • "Build" STEM

    Funded Apr 15, 2019

Sorry for the delay, but we have been so busy with our new Building Bricks sets! Students couldn't wait to open up the boxes and get to work exploring. I was shocked at how engages ALL learners were for each and every lesson we did. Students even invited our little buddies up to "play" with them. It wasn't long before other teachers were asking for lessons from students and requesting to borrow materials.

With your generosity students are now engaging in STEM lessons and working together in ways that just weren't possible before getting these materials. Can't wait to see what the create next!”

Teaching in a high-need community where funds are already stretched; money for new books, technology, or additional resources simply does not exist.
