    Funded Nov 22, 2024

On behalf of my students and myself, I want to extend my heartfelt thank you for your generous support of our classroom project, Let's Learn.

Thank you for helping bring our dreams to reality. We imagined a classroom where students can design their own animal, read about famous scientists, and see the possibilities of science and technology firsthand. Now, thank you to your generosity we can now provide hands on STEM kits, access to literature, and space to work in small groups. With your donations, we brought this vision to life.”

Our classroom library is now stocked with books about voting that can lay the groundwork for a lifetime of informed and active citizenship. The kids are already so eagar to read them all and love the additional posters around the room.”

  • Welcome Back!

    Funded Sep 1, 2023

I am so very grateful to you for helping me help me welcome back students to a new year of learning. When I first submitted my project I knew that many of my students would come to school the first week nervous, hungry, and without the supplies they needed. But with your generousity and support you made it possible to provide so much! Students walked into class the first day to find a brightly colored bag filled with school supplies like pencils and white board markers. They also had snacks to eat at recess. The smiles and joy from that first day has carried throughout the year. The students and I are so very blessed to have your support. Thank you.”

Teaching in a high-need community where funds are already stretched; money for new books, technology, or additional resources simply does not exist. My 3rd grade students work hard through-out the year to improve their reading proficiency while I try to foster a lifelong love of reading. Finding that "just right" book isn't always easy so having a well stocked library for students to access is a must!
