Sensational Social Studies
Funded Apr 26, 2010I would once again like to thank you for your support by helping to fund our class project, "Sensational Social Studies". My students were so excited about the 3-D models, the reader scripts, and even the state book reports and could not wait to begin exploring our country and our world. The students in my class enjoyed learning new and interesting facts about our country and the fifty-states and were excited to have hands-on activities in our classroom, helping to bring social studies alive. The materials arrived, and my students have already completed projects and did reports using these materials.

An Eco-Friendly Classroom for a Greener Tomorrow
Funded Oct 30, 2009I would once again like to thank you for your support of my class in helping to fund our An Eco-Friendly Classroom for a Greener Tomorrow project. This project allowed each student in my class a chance to use learn methods to reduce, reuse, and recycle in the classroom. My students were so excited about doing their part to help the environment. This project allowed my students to use recycled paper and pencil products, operate technology with rechargeable batteries, and properly recycle paper and plastic products. The materials have arrived, and my students have began going green in the classroom.

This Land Is Your Land
Funded Nov 10, 2009I would once again like to thank you for your support by helping to fund our class project, "This Land Is Your Land". My students were so excited about the United States Atlas for Young Explorers and could not wait to begin exploring our country as they read through the books. The students in my class enjoy learning new and interesting facts about our country and are excited to have access to the books right in our classroom. The materials have arrived, and my students have already begun working on projects and reports using these materials.

Shuffle My Classroom Stories
Funded Oct 28, 2009I would once again like to thank you for your support of my class in helping to fund our Shuffle My Classroom Stories project. This project allowed each student in my class a chance to use iPod Shuffles to listen to our weekly classroom stories and other books or articles. My students were so excited about using this technology in the classroom and could not wait to listen and read along with them. We are working on reading, and are focused on materials that will challenge and captivate us. The materials have arrived, and we my students jumped right into using them with their reading.

Oompa-Loompa We Love Books Too
Funded Aug 4, 2009I would once again like to thank you for your support of my class in helping to fund our class read aloud, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. My students were so excited about the books and could not wait to read them. We are doing a term lesson based on the books by Roald Dalh, and every student in my class knows of the story of Charlie Bucket and his trip inside Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. The materials arrived right after the school term began, and we just began our literary journey into this epic book.
