  • Falling For Balls

    Funded Dec 30, 2023

Thank you so much for these wonderful and amazing balls. My scholars are having so much fun they sometimes forget that they are learning. I used some balls to teach them about the movement of a pendulum to knock down blocks of different heights. Some balls were used to practice throwing. dribbling, and catching. It was great to have so many varieties. Some scholars said "Wow, it's amazing". Another said "My ball went further". It was wondering to see the kids faces light up while examining the light up ball or to cause the ball to expand. Some balls were used at the sensory area. Many scholars loved to fidget with the balls in the calm down area. Some forgot what they were so upset about and wanted to keep playing there.”

This Samsung speaker will help them hear and be more excited above moving and exercising. This is needed to help students hear and appreciate good sounds. Currently, the playground at the school is under construction so students have limited space to move so I want to add music so that they can dance and have fun in the classroom. This will be used for learning in class for musical movement. Also, it will be used for musical shows or graduation. I can use it for parent engagement or open school nights. The cleaning supplies will keep everything clean and everyone healthy.
