I am a devoted seventh grade math teacher. I teach special education, and I am a New York City Teaching fellow. I teach in a very high-need community where over 75% of the students receive free lunch. Over 20% of the students in my school receive special services. The school that I teach in is one of the largest schools in the area, therefore it is very important that I take note of all student engagement in order to implement effective instruction.
