Technology Can Be Math Based!
Funded Mar 11, 2010Thank you so much for your contribution it is greatly appreciated. My students are very excited, and ready to utilize this Netbook in their classroom. This is a convenient and necessary addition to the classroom. This Netbook will allow students to participate in meaningful stations in the classroom while utilizing technology.
The Netbook will allow my classroom to become a state of the art and will allow me to keep up with my students and the changing times. In mathematics the use of technology is vital. My students will have the opportunity to view PowerPoint presentations, play math jeopardy games and research in regards to statistics. This is truly a blessing and I am so proud to be a part of the learning process for so many students. Again thank you for all your help and my students thank you.”

Elmo Can Differentiate Too!!!
Funded Jun 2, 2009Words can't express how grateful I am for the Elmo. Not only have my students become more interested in the various math lessons, so have I. Teaching is a new experience and each day my students are amazed at how well they are able to follow the lesson. I have many students who have poor eye sight and the Elmo fills a necessary gap for them.
Students are able to see numbers on the big screen and it adds life to the classroom. My students continuously ask me where did I get the Elmo and why other teachers don't have one. Everyday is a new day. It may be hard for one to believe but this Elmo honestly and truly has made a difference in my classroom. Students are interested. In addition other teachers are interested. I have had many visitors in my room this year to watch how the Elmo is used. My students have told other teachers to go out and purchase one. It is amazing how a tool such as the Elmo can have students excited about attending math class. I would like to say thank you to every donor that contributed to this project. My students are also thankful to you. Because of the Donors Choose community and all of its participants the learning habits of students and a teacher has been changed. ”
