    I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your support in funding some essential classroom supplies this past year.

    Thanks to your generosity, our classroom had tissue boxes and a pencil sharpener for students to use. These supplies played a small but important role in maintaining a comfortable and productive learning environment.

    I especially want to highlight the impact of the color printer you funded. It allowed me to provide students with printouts of national flags, photographs, maps, and newspaper articles for their historical simulations. The ability to print on the spot made all the difference.

    With your help, I've had the professional support I've needed to finish my last component of my National Boards! Thank you!!

    Over winter break, I had a chance to meet with National Board advisors. They've given me really helpful feedback on my teaching. They've pointed out ways that I'm supporting student-directed learning, and they gave me some tips on how to keep developing this even further.

    During spring semester, I spent hours reviewing, reflecting, and writing about my teaching both independently and with the same National Board advisors, who gave me the individualized support I needed to work through this part of the process.

    I was able to close out this school year not only feeling proud of what I was able to accomplish for myself and my students, but with a clearer understanding of my strengths as a teacher. Students always benefit from teachers who strive to continually improve their practice.”
