My students are 8 and 9 year olds in a public school in El Paso, Texas. Our school provides the most they can to our students, but of course, we still have a ways to go. Although all of my students qualify for free/reduced price lunch, you would never think they have certain disadvantages at home because they are always so enthusiastic about their learning!
