Mrs. P’s pirates love to explore new and unique ways of meeting the MN state standards, as well as our S.T.E.M. school standards. We are a very differentiated group of diverse learners. Our families can be financially strained, and they come to our STEM school to receive additional Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math opportunities that they might not receive at home or in other schools. By implementing Bee-Bot robots onto our “ship”, we have the opportunity to have a colorful, easy-to-operate, and friendly little robot. This robot will help our kindergarteners to discover more about sequencing, estimation, problem solving, and just having fun! These robots are the perfect hands-on introduction into coding, programming and give us a deeper understanding into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.).
