iPad and Case for Financial Literacy
Funded Sep 29, 2024Thanks to your generous donation, our students have been actively engaged in learning with our new iPad and protective case! This technology has opened up exciting new possibilities in the classroom, making learning more interactive, accessible, and fun.
In the classroom the iPad is a powerful tool for personalized learning. Students use it for educational apps that reinforce reading, math, and problem-solving skills. It also provides opportunities for creativity through digital storytelling, music composition, and interactive science simulations. The portability of the iPad allows for flexible learning, whether in small groups, independent study, or whole-class activities.
One of the most exciting aspects for our students is the hands-on engagement. They love exploring learning games, voice-to-text tools for writing, and drawing apps that bring their ideas to life. The protective case makes sure that students can use the iPad with confidence, knowing it's safe from accidental drops.
We've seen some students, especially those who struggle, really thrive with this new technology. One student in particular, who was hesitant to participate in reading activities, has become excited about learning through interactive phonics apps.
Your support has made a meaningful difference in our classroom, empowering students to learn in new and exciting ways. Thank you for helping”

Funded Sep 13, 2024The flexible seating desks have transformed the classroom environment by allowing students to choose seating arrangements that best suit their learning styles. For instance, during a recent writing assignment, students used the adjustable desks to create collaborative workspaces. Some chose standing desks to collaborate more actively, while others lowered their desks for focused, independent work. This adaptability made group discussions and brainstorming sessions more productive.
The students were eager to use the desks when they first saw them. Many expressed excitement about having the freedom to adjust their workspace to their comfort.
Next, the students will use the desks to enhance their final presentations for the persuasive writing project. Standing desks will allow them to practice delivering their arguments with confidence, while seated options will provide a comfortable setting for fine-tuning their visual aids. These flexible resources will continue to support differentiated instruction and foster an engaging, student-centered learning environment.
Your donors' contributions have created a classroom where students feel empowered and inspired to learn.”

Funded Aug 29, 2017Technology helps our students everyday. Being that they are below grade level in reading we use different reading software's to help increase their reading levels. The software keeps recordings of their oral reading fluency, and shows their progress. It helps me the teacher keep track of their progress, and allows me to listen to their deficiencies as well. Using the tablet they can access reading librar4ies provided by the software that they ordinarily would not have been able to access without your generous donation.
The new products are exciting to our class because we can use the full potential of the software. Many schools do not have the proper equipment to get the most out of it. It really benefits the students when they can read to the computer and listen to themselves. Also, the online line library is being used while other students are occupied on the computer. The tablets allow them to use the online library while others use the computers.
All students have really enjoyed having this technology in the classroom. They do not have access to such technology at home, therefore having it in the classroom is really exciting to them. I allow them to use the tablets for other classes wen needed as well as long as they bring it back to me by the end of the day.”
